As an Award for Excellence recipient, she is recognized as a perioperative nurse who has excelled in the areas of practice, education and research and have made significant contributions to the perioperative profession. She demonstrates a commitment to perioperative nursing that has had an impact nationally and globally on the profession and the patients under care.
AORN will recognize Cassendra at the 2023 AORN Global Surgical Conference and Expo in San Antonio, Texas.
