The mission of the Research Committee is to identify and implement strategies for addressing gaps in the state of the science in pressure injury etiology, prevention, treatment, and education; to disseminate the results of research; and to support research initiatives, including grant funding and other resources, that prevent pressure injuries, promote healing, and increase awareness.

Small Grant Information

The National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel (NPIAP) does not provide formal letters of support or endorsement for specific grant projects. As an organization, NPIAP maintains a neutral stance on individual grant applications and funding requests. While we support research and initiatives aligned with our mission, we do not issue formal letters of support for grant submissions.
