NPIAP Presents at the Fall SAWC Meeting

NPIAP was pleased to take part in the first pressure injury track at the Fall SAWC meeting in Las Vegas.

Presenters included Dave Brienza, PhD and Michele Deppisch, PT on the effects of pressure and shear, David Alper, DPM on heel pressure injury, Sue Creehan, RN on care of the patient at home, Peter Arnold, MD on surgery for pressure injury, Lee Ruotsi, MD and Joyce Black, RN, PhD on legal issues surrounding pressure injury and a workshop on pressure injury prevention and Joyce Black, RN, PhD on deep tissue pressure injury. NPIAP's vision is to end human suffering from pressure injury.
