o Compare and contrast new evidence in pressure injury prevention
o Explore the concepts of skin integrity impairment and avoidability of pressure injury
Track 1 Objectives:
o Examine significant changes to the 2019 guideline on prevention and treatment of pressure injury
o Describe methods to implement the guideline in various settings
Track 2 Objectives:
o Analyze the concept of skin failure
o Examine the concept of avoidable and unavoidable pressure injury, especially in the very high-risk patient
